My Contributions to the Project

• Designed and implemented using FarCry CMS
• Set up Windows Server 2003 with IIS, ColdFusion MX 6.1, and MySQL 4

Description: This project was a redesign of an old version of the UTeach website. It is built in the FarCry CMS. This allowed non-technical staff to create and maintain sections of content assigned to them.

I adapted the FarCry authentication modules so that users could sign in with The University’s existing proprietary “EID” authentication system.

I also created a FarCry plugin that performs XHTML validation of all site pages. This plugin used the W3C validator for validation and then compiled the validation results of all pages for the developer to review.
